Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: August 13th, 2026  |   Last Updated: August 13, 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Mom Body website (mombodyrva.com, the "Site") and your participation in Mom Body's training services, including virtual personal training, in-person personal training, community group training, and — when available — the video library and custom programming platform. By using the Site or booking a session, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who We Are

Mom Body is a personal training and fitness business based in Greater Richmond, Virginia, owned and operated by Allison Crerie. Contact: allison@mombodyrva.com.

2. Our Services

  • Virtual personal training

  • In-person personal training (Greater Richmond, VA area only)

  • Community-based group training

  • Video library and custom programming platform (in development)

Availability of specific services may vary, and we may add, change, or discontinue services at any time.

3. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to book Mom Body services or use the Site.

4. Health Disclaimer

Exercise and fitness training carry inherent risk of injury. Before starting any program with Mom Body, talk to a physician — especially if you're pregnant, postpartum, returning from injury, or managing a health condition. You're responsible for telling your trainer about any physical limitations, injuries, or health conditions that could affect your safety, and for keeping that information current as your body changes.

5. Assumption of Risk

By participating in Mom Body sessions — virtual, in-person, or group — you acknowledge that physical exercise carries real risk, including muscle strain, sprains, cardiovascular events, and other injury, and you voluntarily assume those ordinary risks. You confirm that you are physically able to participate and have disclosed any condition that could affect your safety.

This section does not release Mom Body from liability for its own negligence — under Virginia law, a business cannot waive that in advance (see the note at the top of this document). It documents that you understood and accepted the ordinary risks of exercise before you started.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mom Body is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or participation in our services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for Mom Body's own negligence beyond what Virginia law allows.

7. No Medical Advice

Mom Body provides fitness training, not medical care. Nothing on the Site or in a session is medical advice. Always consult a healthcare provider for medical questions or before making changes based on health conditions.

8. Community & Conduct

Mom Body's group training is built around women in similar life phases supporting each other. We expect respectful conduct toward other participants and staff at all times, in person and online. Mom Body may decline or discontinue service to anyone who is unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful of our inclusive, LGBTQ+-affirming, body-neutral values.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including copy, photos, video library content, and branding — is owned by Mom Body or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without permission.

10. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party sites, such as our social media pages. We aren't responsible for the content or practices of those sites.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Virginia.

12. Changes to These Terms

Mom Body may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use the Site or our services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
